hello, im new at this and im sorry if im starting a new thread if theres already one with the info i need.

I have a 2005 c230 kompressor, will anyways today i was taking a look under my hood since the dealership had told me thati need to change the vucuum pump. I was trying to identify where the vucuum pump was at, luckily and yes its leaking but when i was locating it i rested my elbow on the expansion tank hose (the elbow) snapped i tried putting it back in palce but fail. i thnk it broke Can i just buy a new one or? Please tell me its this simpele

 

if you have the part number you can order it online at rmeuropean.com and try to installed it by your self

 

you probably have a piece broken in the hose. you might do a temporary fix by removing the piece in the hose and clamping it onto the other piece. but if you need it right away you might have to bite the bullet and pay extra from the dealer to get it if its in stock. if not just go to rmeuropean or mymercedesparts and order from there overnight or 2 day

 

Part number for that plastic connector is 003-997-06-89.

This part is usually in stock at dealers. I bought one last month for $7.
