So the other night I started my car and reversed about 4 feet. When I turned it off and got out I noticed a cloud of smoke coming from the under carriage, as well as an unusual amount of smoke coming from the exhaust. The smoke from the underside stopped by the next restart, which was within a few minutes. No smoke from the engine bay either. The next morning the smoke from the exhaust was minimal and by yesterday the smoke is virtually gone. However, when I accelerate while there is a heavy load on my car I get a quick rattle which sounds very similar to a main bearing knock. I pulled the OBD2 codes this morning and discovered that I'm pulling a po101(mass air flow malfunction), po130,131(bad upstream o2 sensor), and a po410(secondary air injection malfunction. So I have done some researching and have found that the o2 sensor can be the culprit for the 410. How likely is this? I'm going to replace the o2 sensor asap in hopes that it will fix the 410 and I was going to just replace the MAF as well. I need some kind of input before I just dive right into this. I also plan on testing the diverter valve as well as the check valve and hoses. Any advice, suggestions? Has anyone had this issue and fixed it themselves?
