Tire pressure recommendations for non-stock wheels/tires
hello Gents, I have a question for this forum. I have a 2003 C240 with non stock rims.
I installed a new set of Pirelli P zero Nero all season tires 225/40/18) tires today.
My question is, the tire tech suggested 40psi on all four tires. The stock car tire pressure is 32 psi in the back and 28 psi in the front.
Should i listen to the tech on these low pro's tires or go with what the car requires?
thanks for the help in advance.

Other than diameter, the measurements are awefully close to stock and since they are not low profile, I would stick closer to MB recommended psi. I'd suggest maybe 3-4 more PSI when cold, but certainly not 40.

What are stock tire sizes for the C240? 225/45/16 or something like that?

I decided to contact the seller of the tires ( Discount tire direct) and told them my question. They suggested 36 psi in the back 32psi in the front. So you sir are dead on.
thanks again
