Is it possible ?obd cable directly to pc to diagnose my car
Is it possible to find/diagnose all possible faults in my car without having my mechanist doing it via his DIAGNOSTIC SCANNER FAULT READER ?
someone told me its possible just by getting the connecting cable obd to usb and installing a software on pc this will allow me to scan all the car issues
is there anything like that ?
if not any good priced readers you recommend
does devices such as http://www.diytrade.com/china/pd/546...C_SCANNER.html helps in my case and shows all data possible i canget

. It has an app for my computer that reads the scanner and gives a description of the problem and you can print out a report. It looks like that's possible for the one you provided a link for.
Another option is going to a parts store that provides free scanning - but with scanners as inexpensive as they are, it makes more sense to have your own.

I got one this from ebay, and downloaded a PCMSCAN software from torrent. It works fine on both my R-class and C-class, also has the ability to read live data from various sensors. In my opinion, better than buying a code reader from HF because it's about the same price.
