Places to get springs installed

Hey guys,

So I just got my H&R springs in and don't really have the know how or tools to DIY. Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with franchise shops to get springs installed. Such as Kaltire, Fountain Tire, or Midas? If any one has had experience with them or any other franchise car shop please let me know how it went and how much it costed you.

Thanks a bunch,
Trevor

Its gonna be expensive at the top name shops, some might not do it if you don't buy the parts from them. Is there a mechanic that you go to already?

I would recommend going somewhere that does more aftermarket work on cars. I don't know if you have any in your area but here in the bay theres a lot of places like car tunz and sonic MS. You just need to look around, check with a local store that might sell aftermarket wheels or parts and ask them if they know of any shops. I think big O tires might do it though, I asked them how much to install coil overs once and they said some crazy price I forget how much though.

Most franchise places don't like messing with that kind of stuff. They do more general maintenance. Find a good indie shop.

Look for a 4 wheel drive alignment shop. Even if you don't have 4-matic they are usually expert at unusual vehicles and changing springs and shocks. They can also do a good jub of aligning the car after installation. Forget the franchise shops, you really don't want a recent hire training on your car.
