Question Is there a way to program the electric windows to...

My w203 C200 Australian release has of course electric windows.

But as soon as the key is taken out, the power to the electric windows stops and I need to insert the key again if I forgot to close the windows.

Most other cars I've owned or been in keeps power going to the windows for a minute to two before the electricity cuts off.

Is there a way to program the electric windows to allow power flow for a few minutes or so after the key is taken out?

There is no way to program that, but you can point the key at the Ir receiver in the driver's door handle and hold down the lock button. After a moment of delay, the car will close all windows and the sunroof. Then release the button. Clever those Germans.

Cheers, I should have mentioned thats what I do now :-)

Next service I might ask if it can be done with a S.T.A.R.
