coolant flooding over

hi everyone
I was turning my car on today and i noticed a message "check coolant level"
when i opened the hud , i saw that the coolant was flooded, its like the cap couldn't hold the coolant in, and i didn't get any overheat messages and the radiator temp was ok , so what do u think the problem is if any one could help me? thanks alot

Maybe :-

The system was overfilled ?

The thermostat stuck shut although I hear that they are supposed to' fail open'

The head gasket failed with combustion gases pressurising the coolant system.

Good luck.

empty it out then refill it. I had to get my water pump replaced..
