noise from tranny (manual)
when driving in the rain or wet weather i get a clicking grind when anysort of moisture gets up in the underside. Any other folk get this issue...i know its not normal. Its sounds horrible! In fair weather the car is great!

This was an issue w/ a gasket in some section of the rear or driveshaft area
MB of massapequa, LI finally heard this sound (after 5 visits) and resolved it.
suppled a loaner ofcourse and took care of the continental breakfast and tea.
gotta say MB knows how to treat their customers well only wish they didnt use the "replace it if it's not working" method.
I'll go into more detail....
had a clusted issue and they ripped it out and popped in a new one.
happened again and they went to put another one in and found a short was the issue.

I had a humming sound come from my manual c240 when I ride in a higher gear then what I should have been. Also when I was in 1st gear for a while, like drive through at McDonald's, it would have a humming sound. But other than that for 73,000 miles... it was all good.

took 13 weeks and i was fed up... started searching for other cars.
i was told 4-8 weeks...
took a liking to the G35 coupe ...but it wasnt out at the time
the GTI 337 special edition... they wanted 3500.oo over sticker (the MB was a couple pennies cheaper...yes cheaper then a VW)
and a used saab viggen .... dealer was a jerk and had 1/2 the features deactivated on the car and i hear poor quality infomation about the electrical.
my point... hang in there'
Ask me anything about MB of massapequa ,they are awesome! They gave my a loaner E320 wagon over a holiday weekend and i took it to boston ,not a word about miles or anything. Last time i got a sweet ML350 SE WOW!!!!!
