03 C230 K Sedan programing question
I have a 2003 C230 Komp
My car has the optic sensor on the drivers side door handle which I am told if you point your key at the sensor and hold down unlock the windows will roll down, I have seen it work on newer cars, but it is not working on mine, The local Mercedes dealer wants $60.00 USD to hook their computer up to it to see if they can activate the option, and also the lock chirp. If they are unable to turn them on, I still have to pay $60.00....
Does anyone know if my car can have the lock chirp or the window roll down option, before I go pay $60.00 to find out it doesn't have the capability?
I have already looked in the instrument cluster settings and it is not in there....
The main thing I'd love to get is the lock chirp, the roll down is a added interest.
Any advice is highly appreciated!

the lock chirp has to be done with the STAR diagnostic program, you have to switch your alarm to the Norway setting I think or Netherlands, one of those N places lol... you should see the little black square on the driver side door handle. hold the key to it and press unlock then press and hold unlock again to do the roll down feature, you can also do it with the lock button as well to roll up. also you have to be right beside the handle have the key pretty close to it for it to work.
Also, instead of posting numerous threads, you should think about making a personal thread so you can have all your questions in one thread so its easier to get to and makes less clutter.
