Add-A-Circuit - Hardwiring Radar Detector

I just purchased a new Cobra radar detector to help with my commute to and from work. I currently have the radar, the hard-wire kit and need to puchase a "Add-A-Circuit" to plug into my driver's side door fuse box.

Does anyone have any recommendation as to which fuse to use or info about the add a circuit. If anyone has a diagram indicating which fuse within that location is for, it would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking of using a smaller ATM fuse since the radar only needs about 2-3 amps at most. Please comment!

Thanks!

I'd rather not splice into any existing wires and the hard wire kit provides just enough wire to reach that fuse box. It should be a simple plug in. I want to make sure that I have the correct fuses so that each circuit will run properly.

W203 slightly modified
The dashboard fuse area is just a generic outlet. It is color coded for factory assembly. Any position is the same.

I got the radar hooked up & hardwired to the dash with the add-a-circuit. The only thing that could be better is that the radar I purchased doesn't have the option to change the LCD screen to orange like my old one did. I realized today that for an extra $12 I could have purchased the same detector with that option. Call me a perfectionist but darn it!
