Looks good! Consider blacking out the front bumper bottom center section of the lip and and the rear diffiuser?

HID fixed, I swapped ballasts and it worked, purchased a ballast from the same shop with similar specs.

Thanks not considering blacking out anything at the moment. I want to put a CF lip but haven't yet found what I'm looking for. I don't like how they normally make the lower lip of the bumper look thick, most of the ones I've seen look kinda odd. Same with the rear CF diffuser, the fins just look odd (and i like fins). I'm trying to retro fit an aftermarket AMG exhaust tips that fits the classic bumper (non AMG) because they are wider than those on C55/C32. I'll definitely have to cut out the bumper insert, so a CF diffuser is also not in my plans.

Other than that, I am thinking of improving the exhaust note which isn't easy on a 4 banger, then I'll blackout the visible parts other than the tips. If anyone finds quality mid-pipes for a SS C230 please share

P.S. some of the pictures from my previous post come out disoriented on my iPad! What's up with that. They looked fine earlier from my laptop

It's probably too soon to tell, but I'm having second thoughts about the flat hood emblem... I kinda like the OEM ornament. The OEM flat hood I got is too big, Ill try the small replicas

it's your car, but I wouldn't run blue BBS caps. The only wheel BBS eve made to come with the blue cap is the BBS Mg... with the blue cap you are going to get much more scrutiny when ppl see your wheels and ask questions about them. personally i would run a nice set of MB laurel caps or standard caps.

The wheels are replicas anyways, I was just after the freshness of that blue color. Good call on the MB laurels though. I photoshopped them and they didn't look quite right.

I think I'll just put on the typical black BBS caps and drop the whole theme I was going for, it would've looked much better on a BBS LM-Rs but couldn't find the right set.

(Update) H&R Springs

The gap between the fender and the top of the tires (in getto units of "finger" width):
  • OEM suspension: front: 3.5 back: 2.5
  • H&R after installation: front: 2 back: 1.75
  • H&R now: front: 1.75 back: 1
It's starting to settle in.

Springs dont settle. Thats just a common myth. If they actually do settle it means the sspring rate changed and they are some crappy springs.

Right when you put the new springs in and put the car on the ground the suspension are not at their natural state because they were stretched out in the air which makes the car seem not that much different in terms of height. After few miles of driving you will see the suspension settle back down and this is not the spring settling, but simply the suspension and all the bushing breaking down for the new springs.

If you compare used springs to new such as h&r if they actually do settle you would see length difference side by side, but that has never happened.

Got it thanks for the clarification. I assumed that it was the springs themselves while it's the bushings and the whole setup settling.

My lights alignment were off. The driver-side was pointing really high. I fixed the main issue but they the cutoffs aren't perfect yet.

I was only fiddling around with the 2 headlight "adjusters" that can be accessed vertically from on top of the housing. The inner adjuster, closer located to the center of the car, was clearly helping with the hight of the cutoff. But I couldn't figure out what the outer adjuster was doing. Also the cutoff were perfectly horizontal at all... any advice on how I can improve my alignment?

Is there a specific procedure somewhere for our cars? detailing how far should I be from the wall, what hight should I aim to have the cutoffs at... etc.

when i was adjusting my headlights, I found out that one of the adjusters aim the lights up and down. The other one aims it left and right, hard to tell with projectors. Here's a write up how to aim projectors.

besides the front springs, i feel that the rear needs more spacers... what do you think? 12mm vs 15mm?

There's a surprise!

I think the fronts are fine. Besides, you're in MA, and pushing them out further is just asking for trouble.

The front is poking out a bit and just needs to be lowered 0.5-1" further. Looks like 15mm at the rear should make them match. If it turned out to be too much, I can always roll the fenders.

Took the car to get checked last week @ EAS. Tranmission was shifting rough and late they serviced the transmission & transaxle, replaced passenger front lower control arm, installed AUX, and gave me a free loaner while at it! They had an awesome '57 300SL roadster and bmw isetta (1 cylinder, 13hp car!!!).

A+ on technical expertise, customer service, and punctuality... D on hourly rate though, granted they are cheaper than the stealership but these guys are NOT CHEAP. Good thing they gave me heads up that I'll need to replace the rear swaybar and some bushings on my next service.

Will be visiting Eastside Motoring next week. If you are around Boston, don't waste your time. These are my go-to guys for all aftermarket mods. I swear it's like almost all the modified cars in here are rockin their decals! that was my first clue lol

I'll need a toe alignment, install D-rings for the cargo net, swap interior lighting back to stock, change most of the exterior lighting to 5000k LED. I might cut the front coils and fix the rear spacers as well.
