c240 rattling/knocking noise in drive
I have 2002 C240 that has recently had the engine/transmission mounts, sway bar linkage and bushings, control arm bushing (front) and MAF unit replaced.
After the first repairs (engine/transmission mount and MAF) I started to hear an intermittent rattle that I could only hear from inside the car while it was in drive. If i listen closely to the engine I can hear the noise from under the hood, and a little better from under the car. The noise is coming from the front left side of the engine. When I put pressure on the top of the engine, the noise stops.
I will try to upload a recording of the sound. I appreciate any help!!
