2003 C200K Losing Water
I have a 2003 model C200K that is loosing cooling water at a rate of about 2 litres per 300 km. There are no visible leaks and no water in the oil, the car does not overheat or under perform. I have replaced the head gasket, oil cooler and water pump but this has not fixed the problem! Does anyone have any advise or had similar issue?

There must be an answer but as the car is running well all you can do is wait for something to develop & keep a close eve on the coolant level. At that consumpion rate it will become expensive to keep adding inhibitor but it will be worthwhile doing so.
I wonder whether it would be useful to change your thermostat . How is the coolant temp? .What do the mechanics say who did the head ?. Is there any sign of bubbles from the coolant reservoir?
All I can think of is that you may have a slight leak in the head itself which is allowing a small amout of coolant into the combustion chamber , not enough to be visable in the exhaust.
Have someone view the exhaust at first start of the day for any water emission.
Sometimes with this type of leak a small amount of coolant accumulates on top of the piston when the engine is sitting. This can cause a miss when first starting. If you can see the pistons with the spark plugs removed it may be worth a look with a scope.
Good luck & keep is posted .
