Is it just me or do most W203's not have projectors? I figured with a post-facelift model that at least they would replace the halogen style headlights...

 

Yep most w203s do not have projectors

They didn't come standard on any w203 coupe or sedan model, it was usually a add on, and a pretty expensive one at on at the dealer. A lot of people go the aftermarket rough that normally cost around $400 or so.

 

Oh okay. What brands are good in terms if reliability?

 

Depo or eagle eye are the main aftermarket ones. It's shouldn't cost 400 unless you want the bixenon ones which I wouldn't pay for imho. I'd go with the regular 200 depo and buy the DDR hid kit from our sponsor on here for 40. Just make sure you get the error free/canbus hid. If you want bix I say get the cheaper Depo and retro some s2000, tsx, e55, or morimoto bix projectors. Those projectors run from 110-200 depending on your choice but way worth it in the long run. Great light output and cutoff. And still run under 400.
