Question C320 Coupe Owners Question

Hello Coupe owners! I seem to be getting different information on the size of the exhaust between C230 and C320 coupes. Some tuners like Kleeman and Rhemus tell me that they are the same. I have not seen any exhaust systems specifically for C320 coupe, so I called Brabus and they told me that they are different, and Eisenmann guys still have to get back to me. Can any one of you guys help? Hopefully some of you C320 coupe owners already have aftermarket exhaust installed. Thank you in advance.

They can be the same from the cat back, but I don't know if they are different. I can tell you the C320 is dual back to the rear axle, then merges into one pipe.

The two C320C's I looked at a couple of hours ago have duals to the cat, not the rear axel.

After looking under those two C320C's and my C230k 2.3, there is nothing in the exhaust system that is the same, with the possible exception of the muffler. Maybe the resonator is the same as the non-C7 2.3's and/or all 1.8's, but it is in a different location. The resonator on the 1.8's is in a third location. The cats are in different locations of the three cars. The cat on the 1.8 is well forward. The cat on the 3.2 is much more towards the rear, after the two header pipes meet. The cat on the 2.3 would be behind the the cat location of the 1.8 and ahead of the cat location of the 3.2.
