c230 1.8L oil filter recommendation
Hello everyone, O.k. got a question I know the issue of the oil filter for the 1.8l c230 has been hashed out and the general conscencus is there is only a paper filter available for it.
Now my question is which among the paper is best or are they all basically about the same?

Went to the dealer and this is the one they sell. (above)
and this is the one sold by Mann made in Germany, both filters are called out for the c230 although they do differ ever so slighty from one another?. Anyone out there that has experience with one or the other, or both? Let me know what you think, just got this car and want to make sure and treat it right. Such a blast to drive and the gas mileage is great. Also what is the recommended oil change interval since these aren't fleece was thinking about changing every 7k. Thanks for any input

MBWorld Fanatic!
+1 - I wouldn't use the Mann.
IMHO, Mahle is the best (and the same as the Mercedes). I think I have the Hengst in my car now, only becasue I had it and realized I had forgot to order another during my last oil change.
Here are pics, if you're interested:
