greetingz,
Steve, do you and Jay work together? Can we have you ship the bixenons to Jay and have Jay install them? How much would everything cost for parts and labor?

no, we don't...Jay is just nice enough to help me out and drive me around whenever I am in the LA area...I sell and ship bi xenons to those who buy those lights from me...where they get it installed is up to them.

Maybe a bit far south for you, but Autowerks in San Diego sells and installs 203 bi xenons as well...

Nolbert,

Corner of Vermont and Beverly behind the Ford dealership is a body shop that knows how to do it. They installed mine just this past Monday and did a great job. Cost $150 and took a couple of hours.

BiXenon installation on a W203 should take no longer than 45 minutes to an hour for a experienced shop, that is.

The dealer must also plug in the DAS and enable xenon in order to get the lights to work.

If you find that its not possible to go to the dealer at the time the lights are installed, turning the lights on will cause them to blink on-and-off without the computer being set.

To get around this:

1) With the engine off, turn the lights on (lights should stay on)
2) Wait for 3-5 minutes then start the engine with the lights still on.

This should make the lights stay on (not blink) until the engine is turned off again.

Please be aware of the possibility that the lights can start to blink at any time again (let's say after 20 minutes while you are driving on a dark non lighted road)...so don't use this tip as a permanent solution.

Is there anyone else besides the dealer who can set the xeon function for me?

I've had the worse luck with dealers thus far.

This is just an interim solution should you not have time to go to the dealer on the day your lights are being installed... (i.e., installation led into the night).

Just like what Steve said, get your computer programmed as soon as possible.

If you take it to D2 i dont think you need to take it back to the dealer as far as i remember they do everything. but call them and talk to them to make sure.
