Smile How long do you plan to keep your car?

Hi:
Just curious, how long (time or miles) do you plan to keep your C Class?

I plan to keep it for 10 years, if the car doesn't give me much problem.

Thanks,

If it doesn't make it past the 250,000 miles and 19 years that my Scirocco has logged I will be very disappointed.

Planning on at least 3.5 but I can't rule out a shorter marriage if something arrives (gto perhaps) that is just too irrestible. I can't believe I'm saying it but it looks like GM may have finally turned me on- I know...SUCKER! Certainly not much longer than 4/50 if at all though, not because I don't like it obviously.

until i can afford an upgrade probably. the next car will probably be a used (or new, we'll see) M-class to haul kids around in when the wife and i have kids. but the M-class will probably replace the wife's car and i will still drive mine around. i guess we'll see. i'd like to keep it 6 or 7 years.

i don't buy a car planning to get rid of it in a certain length of time. i get rid of a car when i need to/want to/have to.

OMG! Are you getting sucked in with that marketing hype? Will a fast car get you going no matter what? Hey, I'm "over 40", so I'm a little beyond the fast toy stuff, but I don't think Pontiac will ever go back to anything better than their gray plastic "tons of buttons" interiors and such -- hey, the Grand Prix's of the 70's were nice, but the '90s and beyond??? And I was a GM die-hard through the 70's, 80's, even into the 90's. I don't know if I could ever go back after my Passat and M-B.. I don't care what Buell says, the quality is so much higher than my old GM cars which were in the shop constantly...

Just my opinion -- who knows, maybe Pontiac will end up as the BMW of GM!
