rear view mirror swap - 2005+ in a 2001 ??

rear view mirror swap - 2005+ in a 2001 ??
Heres why....

From what i have read.... the 2005+ has multiple input/voice microphones in the rearview mirror. The 2001-preface lift has only 1 input/voice microphone.

I am looking to swap a 2005+ mirror (or just the input/voice microphones--if its plug and play) into my 2001 to hopefully gain better sound input clarity with my bluetooth system.

Anyone know?

Only thing I can think of is look up the schematics of the two plugs and you can probably connect or Y your one input to the the newer mirror somehow.
