2006 C280 Door Lock Issue
Friends: having a recent problem with the driver's door lock on my 2006 C280. Specifically, pressing the smart key button or the lock/unlock button in the car does not activate the lock at all. The lock is only able to be locked, or unlocked, by hand. Also, hitting the 9 mph threshold causes no action either. I would note that the other 3 locks are working normally. For a while the problem was intermittent but now is constant. Any suggestions from you smart folks?

is the led blinking on the key when pressing the lock/unlock buttons? replace the batteries if you havent they take 2 CR2025 batteries. if its not that then it might the transmitter

No, nothing on the dashboard and the LED lights are all working fine. What gives me pause about it being the transmitter is that the lock doesn't work when I use the car's lock/unlock button either (unless that works off the transmitter as well).
