I just did a search to see if I can get lucky. But nothing. my question is.. My foglights don't go on with my headlights.. They go on when I lock or unlock my door. But thats all.. Is there a certain way I need to hook it up? Whats the deal with this?

That's what they call "normal".

If you want your fogs to come on when the lights come on, you'd have to custom wire the foggies into the headlight wiring. They're not designed like that because your fogs are supposed to come on when there's fog out, hence the name. Why would you want to annoy drivers coming in the other direction more than necessary?

If you have the factory foglights they should go on when you pull the the headlight switch towards you.

Have to select one of the right-most options,... before pulling the switch. Yellow or green light on light switch panel will go on.

I had assumed a base level of intelligence and/or reading comprehension. Guess you can't assume anything.

All discussed in the manual...........

Since Mercedes-Benz are well known for designing cars with such a high level of user-friendliness,... I guess that means everything should be intuitive,... and thus Mercedes drivers shouldn't need to read the owners manual.

But then again,... after all these years,... I still get the turn signal lever and cruise control lever mixed up,... because they're placed so close together.

If you have the switch on Auto, the fogs and city lights will come on when you hit unlock (love this, makes it easy to find the car in a big parking lot). When inside the car, you can't turn the fogs on while the switch is in Auto. You need to turn it all the way to the right and then pull it toward you one click. This will turn the headlights and fogs on at the same time.
