I know smokedlamps.com gives a full warranty for their work. Call them up and ask them. Tell them Erik with the mercedes sent you.

Why hesitate? The smoked finish will last for as long as you own the car. It's not like bugs and rocks hit it like the front bumper.

Yeah.. do it. I really want a blk car. it will look damn nice on black car. Black grill, smoked taillight and dark tint.

In my opinion, smoke the whole taillight since your car is black.

Ohh yeah, I almost smoke my mirror's turn signal too. But I don't think it will look good on silver. But maybe it will be nice on black.

Just get the w211 blinkers-very cool for the $60 or so. Totally changes the look of the side of the car. Much cleaner and 'newer' looking.

actually the surface is pretty smooth.. i checked my tail light and found there is only one real corner that would have a problem... if you stand in the back of your car the driver side tail light the problem would be on the lower right corner of the tail light, passenger side is lower left... but i think Spraying would be ok as long as you know how to paint... thats what i would do... or just take it to a body shop after you have sprayed your tail light to the desired shade and then have them clear coat it so it would stay really shinny....
