I have a 2001 C320 and I am interested in making it louder. more nice I love the sound of it when I give it the gas, But its dead silent at idle. I have come across some possible options and would like opinions and ideas. First option i came across was to delete the resignator, has anyone done this how does it sound? the next option was to delete the muffler. same question to that. If neither of those I would like to put a magnaflow muffler on there. Ive seen this done to where they brought the muffler closer to the back of the car and they give the car real dual exhaust (past the muffler. Thats my other choice. Or to gut the stock muffler. any ideas and input would be highly appreciated, keep in mind I am in Cali and have to pass emissions.
