Centre brake light replacement

Hi

I have a 2004 c180k M/B

Please help me how to replace centre brake light in bootlid or how to replace bulb. I am getting an error message and it is very frustrating. I do not want to break something.

my 3rd brake light has been broke for thousands of miles ...its 200 at the dealership !!!!! 70 on ebay

look up 3rd brake light replacement c230 ...not same car but same concept

it looked like a ***** to do

Something Slow

ebay have the aftermarket ones that you maybe able to use..

its not to hard to install the carpet has to be removed it has some metal clips and screws that holds it in place..
