Two big offenses are the slushbox and calling it reliable.

Everything else, I don't really see being that bad, except for the bronze highlights, but that's easily remedied. Well, I guess I'm not a huge fan of killing the airbags, either. I'm surprised he left the stereo stock, actually.

Kind of like the removal of the rear seats. Throw a mattress in the back, brings me back to the 60's. I had a Rambler American, everyone laughed until they found out the front seats folded flat. Came that way from the factory. They don't build em like that anymore.
Different strokes I guess.
