ABS/ESP/BAS Not Available warning...
This afternoon I was returning to work after lunch. When I started up, the ABS warning light stayed on, and I got 3 alternating faults, 1 each for ABS, ESP and BAS saying "not available, diagn./rig test". I restarted once and the warnings were still there. When I got to work I shut it off and read the owner's manual for a couple of minutes. Then, about 5 minutes later, I restarted and all the warnings were gone. Anyone else ever have this happen? I've got a C240 6-spd.

Could a sensor have gotten blocked, temporarilly? I often wonder how those ABS sensors in the wheels register with every rotation without occasional failure.
Just guessing...

OK, you know what's really weird? I was checking the console business out for the other post, so I had the overhead lights on when I started up in my garage. I can't imagine there's any connection, but I've never seen the warnings before, and I've never started up w/ the interior lights on... must be a coincidence. But, I won't try it again.
