only springs I know that dont drop the post facelift a lot are Teins. Other SS members have H&R and it lowers it what the site says. H&R springs drops the cars the lowest of all springs for our cars.

the issue with h&r is that it drops the rear a lot lower than the fronts and since the ss use either #1 or #2 pads in the rear most get #4 pads to pick up the rear a bit to match the front to give it the natural rack our cars have.
Thanks a lot
is cutting springs bad? Example.. as in cutting the front spring to match the rear drop? Does it take time for springs to settle in or with the drop be instant

I have H&Rs in my C32. The previous owner cut 1/2 a coil out of both f/r. I have the #2 pads in the rear. For me, the car sit just right, and actually rides very well. I also have Bilsteins.
i just ordered them
thanks for the help guys .. should i let them settle in for a few weeks before i consider cutting them?? im on stock wheels hopefully i can put some wheels after the springs are set..
and were can i find those pads #4 or #2 what are those. my guess is that its a spacer type rubber but then again i have no idea lol..

The pads are for the rear spring. They range from 1-4, 4 being the thickest pad. Dealership should have them

ExploreSo I got my springs part number 52792 but the spring itself says 29392 is this right ??? What pads do u guys recommend # I'm guessing the cars come with #4 pads

sport models come with #1 or #2 pads actually. you can tell by when you remove the rear spring the pad will have little numbs on them letting you know which one you have. most actually get 4 pads because it drops the rears quite a bit lower than the fronts making the rake look off.

Have any idea why my part number is one thing and my springs have another?

i believe h&r started changing the numbers around. sway bar numbers changed too from one to another. to verify you can call them and make sure.
