The stock suspension is much more than these cheap taiwanese coilover brands. It would be more worth it to you to just buy some springs. $500 coilovers just sounds like a bad idea.
Judging by a quick search and reading of some reviews, sounds like you get what you pay for, and your ride will really suffer.
But if you're accepting of their limitations...
Hmmm.. Yeah did few searchs here aswell and they seem to be not worth it maybe theyre good for mk1s but not a benz, im on a 900$ budget and not sure what that can get me..and i really prefer new sets over used. Any recommendations?looking for a non bouncy drive

Honestly the stock suspension on the sport sedan is really good. The h&r coilovers I have feel only a little better than stock and the car performs great. I have the stock sport suspension if you want to buy that?

Fortune 500s list at $1200; talk to Chris, maybe he'll give you a Black Friday deal. Seriously, $300 is worth the peace of mind for real co's. Maybe look at BC as well; not sure how inexpensive their lowest line is, but should be in the same ballpark.

I was looking at BC BR coils on eBay and found a set for $990. They also have camber plates available on the rear so hopefully that will fix the camber when lowered problem.
Okay, so I literally just put them on. Less than 1000 miles ago. I need a bigger car so I'm going to trade in my benz, but I want to put it back to stock first. I also have brand new AMG wheels/tires, h&r spacers, wheel studs and lug nuts. I'll sell everything for $2800 obo shipped. Coilovers $1100obo shipped.
Anyone know where I can get a camber kit for a CL203? E-mailed ghost rider but I'm not optimistic about getting a reply.
NOT ONLY A CAMBER KIT.... (Only OEM adjustment is front and rear Toe).
We saw the need therefore to manufacture precisely adjustable (single wrench on car) Front Camber and Caster and rear Camber (with extra Toe to compensate for the new Camber facility).
Restoring accurate/ongoing “Full Front and Rear alignment capability”– unheard of since the 1990’s.
Allowing to return to factory specs and resolve once and for all steering pull, premature inner edge tire wear, curb knock damage, along with improving hi-speed directional control, steering response with less dive/lift on brake/acceleration. Essential also if altering height, fitting wide profile tires/rims.
Result – no more constant changing tire brands or visits to alignment shops!

So... How much is it and how do I buy it? Also, the pictures show nothing adjustable that I am aware of.

“...ALSO THE PICTURES SHOW NOTHING ADJUSTABLE THAT I AM AWARE OF”
It’s often said the “simplest design is the best design”.
So at K-MAC we went about and invented and patented a system whereby all that is required for precise adjustment settings is to loosen the actual bush nut. Then simply rotate the bolt head to the precise adjustment setting required.
Often we get feedback “....brilliant - so simple a concept – once you get your head around it”.
Design breakthroughs, new concepts is what it is all about at K-MAC. We have been manufacturing Camber, Caster and Toe adjuster kits now for over 40 years!
hello everyone! newbie here. just got my first mb ever. browsing thru i see you guy's whip and they all look awesome. I just got my c240 and starting it off with 19's offset wheels by XIX x5 . Suspension upgrade next.
Bump for more suspensions setups... Looking to upgrade mine here shortly. I've read stock shocks with aftermarket (lowering) springs will keep my bank account from going red (negative).

Thanks!
If your suspension is original and a couple years old I'd recommend not doing lowering springs because your struts could (very possibly) blow out. I went with Megan Racing, they have damping adjustment and cost me just under $1,000 USD. Pretty good setup for the money, I'm very happy with it, except the rear isn't as low as I'd like, but the wheel is tucking. Front wheel gap is gone.

I'm just learning about suspension pricing and WOW it amazes me..AND THEN I still have to pay to get them installed. I'm looking to replace my shocks and struts with OEM style then add lowering springs with the new sets.
. I have staggard 19's now, and will see if i can find the specs on them. These ones are listed at 35MM offset front and rear, and 8.5"F, 9.5"R. I don't mind having to use proper spacers if needed (Hubcentric, or small enough to not to push the wheel past the factory hub completely). I'd prefer not to buy replicas, but most of my car funds go to my other car (Scene in the background of this pic). Just trying to make a good looking driver.
Edit: I found out what my current wheels are: Racing Hart C4's. In 19", and staggered. 265-30-19 Rears, and 235-35-19 Fronts. Haven't determined rim widths yet.

Hello everyone! I have a 2007 C230 sport and I am looking at set of wheels that is 19x9.5 , 19x10.5 with a +22 offset front and rear. Any idea how close this will come to the fender and if so will fender rolling/pulling solve the problem
