cutting springs stiffens the spring rate of the springs. many do it and are fine but its up to you, you just have to do it properly. make sure after you cut it repaint it with a painter sealer that wont let it rust.
fyi... since you have mulitple threads going, start a personal car build thread and place all your questions in one area so its easier to get all your answers. Also before other memebers start saying STFF, i recommend you do some skimming of the threads or using the search button.

I'm new but these last 2 treads are my last I been searching like u said found lots of answers ... Something about a resonator in the exhaust interested me I think u wrote on that same thread 2 lol

there are two resonators on our cars on towards the front and a secondary one towards the rear by the diff. many remove the secondary resonator when doing their exhaust.
