Hi, I have a 2002 c230 kompressor with standard audio and have been having a problem with audio.

The audio used to work fine but one day I started to loose audio while driving. When I start the car, it usually works for a few minutes (usually less than 5) and then I loose sound. My trip to work is usually around 30 minutes and most of the time the audio would come back before I got to work. The cd changer works ok, the radio works fine, just no audio from any of the components including the cassette. I noticed that after it comes back, it would usually work until I turn off the car.

I unplugged and plugged back the fiber optic cable a few times, inspected to see if there are any bents in the cable and checked the fuses. Everything seemed ok.

I searched the forums and no one else seems to have this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
