Hi guys,

I recently go my Lower Control Arms, and anti roll bar bushings changed on my 2001 C220 CDI.

Now it sounds like the actually power steering rack has gone? Would it be that? It is difficult to turn and makes a noise when i do so?

Sounds more like the power steering pump.

 

cheers for the reply bud... in the end i found out what it was.

some heat plate from the exhaust was loose and managed to move itself close to the rack so when i turned it was catching on it. Sorted now!
