Exclamation W203 C240 Debadging

Hey guys,

This is my first post here. I've been reading the forums for a few months now, but haven't posted anything.

I have a quick question: I want to debadge my car, but I have one concern. Does the paint fade? I have a black car and I've done some research and it appears that only color paints fade over time and black doesn't. Is this true? I don't want to debadge the model and 4matic (leaving the rear MB logo) and you be able to see the outlines of it as the paint will be "newer" looking. This will also be my first, of hopefully eight, mods I have in mind. Any feedback would be awesome. I will post pictures of befores and afters soon.

Thanks

there shouldn't be an outline if you do it cleanly.

use a hair dryer or heat gun to make the process easier and when done use some paint safe cleaner and remove any of the sticky residue. after that I would buff and polish the area.
