C230 Sport Sedan Interior
Hi all: I just purchased a 2006 c230 Sport sedan, black on black. I have been reading a lot about interior cleaning; I plan on using a simple damp cloth or cloth with a mild soap for the MB-Tex seats, dash and other vinyl/plastic areas, followed by 303 Aerospace Protectant. I can't tell however, if there is any genuine leather anywhere on the interior, which would call for perhaps different measures. The steering wheel cover and shift boot/knob perhaps?

1999 CLK320 (sold), 2007 C230 SS (gone), 2000 Grand Marquis, 2011 CR-Z, stay tuned...
The steering wheel is leather, as are the middle (perforated) sections of your seats, I believe. I know the 2005 seats have leather inserts and the 2007 do not; I can't remember specifically about 2006. Pretty sure the shifter boot is as well (leather.)

Okay there is definitely some confusion about the 2005-2007s decontenting.. John, I believe, said that his 2007 has the leather inserts like my 2005. 2007s I've been in do not have those. 2006 I believe does.
But it is apparently hit or miss?
