2003 C240 - The door is locked and I can't unlock it. The door lock button and the key button won't unlock the door. The door pin pulled off in my hand. I can't pull the door panel with the door shut. Any suggestions?

The door pin should screw back on if it doesn't try another one. Also the rear doors are a pain because when locked the metal pin part falls outside of the whole so when you try to unlock it can't go up out of the whole. I assume the door lock was having issues when you tried to manually unlock it right? So first things first you have to get the dam pin to pop to the center then try to unlock it a few times while some one pulls on the handle a few times not to hard just normally and I have found that when I do that my door lock will usually work eventually. I have had all 4 of my door locks stop working or work intermittently for a few months then one day it starts to work perfect again (knock on wood) It usually starts working when I am a few hours away from ordering parts to fix
