C230 Sports Coupe
Speed of Coupe @ 3000 rpm each gear
Hi guys,

I am finally getting my C230K soon. (around the 15th of this month) It's a orion blue with C2, C7, Bose, CD changer, Six-speed. The wait is finally over.

Since I am still a newbie at manual transmission, can someone be kind enough to let me know the speed of each gear @ 3000 rpm. I just want to make sure that I won't do anything stupid like down shifting my car too early to break the 3000 rpm break-in guideline during the first 1000 miles or so.

What 3000 RPM guideline? Honestly, I think you'd have a hard time driving any C230 and keeping it under 4000 RPM...

DRIVE IT LIKE YOU WOULD ANY OTHER MANUAL CAR, JUST AVOID RED LINE. I DID AND NOW HAVE OVER 3,OOO AND RUNS PERFECT.
