I called 1-800-FOR MERCedes and the Canadian number as well and these are not being sold anymore so if anyone has one for sale or has a copy for sale, please let me know.

they have it... you can go to your dealer and give them the part number and they can order it for you. That's what I did and some did last month. Just call your local dealer and give them the part number. They'll just say they have to order it and it'll take a couple of days. If they say they don't call other dealers but they should sell it to you if they put in the part number.

I called my local dealer who told me I'd have to call the Canadian equivalent of 1800 FOR MERCedes which got me no where. I then called 1800 FOR MERCedes who told me they were no longer sold and to try ebay for a second hand copy - what a joke!

I'll call some other dealers, give them the part number and see what happens...thanks.

if not I can probably get it from my dealer and just ship it to you. worse case scenario or you can find someone closer to you that wants to do it. My parts guy usually doesn't ask questions if I give him the part # plus I can probably get a discount since I usually do it under my friends dealer account.

I'm going to wait to till I hear from Phister on whether his contact can get a copy of the DVD. If so, I'm going to buy from him. If Phister's contact can't get a copy, can you tell me the name and location of the dealership you bought your DVD from?

I tried 5 dealers around here and 3 in the US and was told by all of them that the DVD was no longer available. It looks like if a dealer doesn't have it in stock, its not available anymore.

no my guy is the park place mb dealer in fort worth. theyre pretty cool and dont ask questions. i'll have to get my friends dealer account so i can give it to them to get the discount. so it'll take me a couple of days for him to get back to me since he's busy with school and work.

its about the same price my pars guy can get it for, supposedly the price has went up on it since I got it. you might have to call them since they don't ship to Canada I don't think or they might.

Wow, this has become the preverbial needle in a hay stack!

I called Mymercedesparts and asked for the service DVD. When it couldn't be found, I gave the part number and still no luck. I said it was listed on their site and was told that there are a lot of parts still listed on the site that are no longer carried...

Anyway, I give up for now. I'm going to try the knockoff version and see if it's what I'm looking for.

At my local dealership (and I think, most dealerships), the parts dept doesn't keep it in stock but can order it. Mine came from a MB parts warehouse in Southern California & took three days to arrive. I paid $55 & looks like Boom has you covered with an updated part number & (cheaper) price.

Yup, I e-mailed the link that Boom provided asking if they can still get it. Hopefully they'll get back to me with good news...I'd prefer to buy an OE part.

I tried to purchase the service DVD for my W203 at the local dealership in Vancouver years ago. They said they would have to order it in 2-3 weeks). The price they quoted was way higher than in the US. I ended up phoning a MB dealership in Seattle, WA. They also had to order it in. Price was $60 plus tax & postage. I think it took about a week before it arrived. Maybe try a MB dealer in the US near Toronto. Good luck.

Anyway, they say that they can no longer get this thing.

Just another update on this issue. I had another call with Mercedes USA and was told that this DVD has been discontinued. All info is now available online on a subscription basis on www.startekinfo.com. The bad news is that the info now costs $19/day.

That being said, if anyone has one of the DVD's that they'd like to sell, please let me know.

MB USA customer service line has incorrect info and they are told to upsell you on the subscription. PM me if you'd like me to get you the STAR DVD from my dealer and send it your way, & we can work out the details.

I have the P-2700-203-07 DVD I bought a few years ago when I rebuilt the engine in my CL203. Is this what you're looking for?

I remember the Autodesk Whip! DRM on it was goofy, and didn't like WinXP (Vista?) or something.
It does not like Win7 64bit! lol

Geez, I'm just trying to learn about and fix my car here, trying to be proactive and cut down on what people here consider "stupid" questions.
I've tried every which way to buy an authentic disk...was in Europe a few weeks ago, tried there too and nothing.

That being said, I don't want to cause any issues over a copied disk so forget it, not interested anymore. If anyone is getting out of the W203 and wants to sell me their authentic disk, please let me know.

Also, here's a pre-emptive apology for any future "stupid" questions that I may ask.
