Bigger tubing from E/S/SL air intake???

Hey there,

Was talking to a local W211 E55 owner and he was saying that I could get larger tubing from the higher end V6 models and/or a larger airbox.

Here's a picture of it below:

Apparently our tubing pinches as it approaches the ram air intake at the grille. Anyone change this up? Opinions?

Thanks,
TTR

I doubt a c240 would need more air without major mods to be honest. On another note check your coolant level it looks a little low and the cap on the Freon port is missing.

I'm personally not too sure how it would work. But, this summer I want to make myself a custom air intake and see where I can mount it.
The only problem is, from personal experience the W203 engine bay is smaller than that of the W211, R230, R129, etc. So perhaps the air intakes from those models will not properly fit in the W203 engine bay.
Though if I decide to make a custom intake, I'll be sure to take this into consideration and I could confirm for you if it would work or not.
