Help P0010 code and rough idle

Looking for some wisdom here. Two days ago my 05 C230 started to have a rough erratic idle but no CEL. After a day it finally tripped a CEL for P0010 Bank 1 Cam Position Actuator. I replace the part and no change. This car already had the recall for the oil in the connectors and jazz like at 100000 mile ago and all the connectors look clean and oil free. My next thought was maybe it jumped a two on one of the cams but it revs out fine and appears to drive at freeway speeds fine. Any help would be appreciated since it is my daily and I really don't want to go to the stealership if I can help it. There are no other codes and aside from it wanting to die when in gear it drives fine.

HELP

Geoff

Worn pedal sensor or dirty throttle body would be my first culprits to check. There are carbon tracks on the throttle body that can be cleaned with isopropyl Alcohol, and the dirt built up on the plate and passages.

Update: After several days at the stealership the diagnosis is bent valves due to timing chain slippage. The Intake timing gear was worn down to almost nubs. Pictures to follow.
