radio specs of a c230k
High guys i was wondering if anybody had the specs as in watts/rms watts for each speaker in the car. I'm guessing there are 6 of them, (2 tweeters, two mids, and two lows). also i would like to know the max watt the radio pumps out.
Why you ask? I'm trying to determine if i should upgrade my radio system with an aftermarket one.

The stock sound system in the C-Class isn't that bad... It's better than most other stock systems in similar cars.
If you think that the stock sound is crap, it's usually because the speakers are underpowered - to overcome this problem, all you need to do is get an aftermarket head unit which can provide more power than the stock one, or alternatively add an amp to the existing speakers to provide them with more power.
Another suggestion would be to add a subwoofer, if you think the system is lacking in bass. (Since the stock system only has tweeters and splits or 6'9s, it can only accurately generate tones in the high/mid region, therefore missing low notes in music.)
To provide bass, a sub doesn't need to be big - a 10" sub will do the job in most cases...
