P0016 only
Hello, my 2006 C230 is flagging code P0016 only, I've been told the cam shaft magnet can cause it, have not been able to find a place to buy it. I've checked Parts.com but to no avail. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? Also, I've read that the P0016 code by itself was not common, am I under the right assumption shooting for the Cam MAgnet?

I think you may be talking about the Crankshaft Position Sensor.

Replaced the CPS and the check engine light is still on, took it today to have the code read and it shows P016.
Does anyone know if I need to get the code cleared to have the Check Engine light go out?

Do you have any updates on this issue, I am also showing just the P0016 code. It is very frustrating because no one seems to be able to tell me if I need the solenoid or sensor replaced.
P0016 code reads sensor but as you stated your problem was not fixed. Or so it seems...
