well if you say the exhaust was hit then it shouldn't affect your pull. EX-haust would be the release of emissions from your car. you can fix that crack with an easy welding job shouldn't cost more that 20 bucks. when did you change your brakes last?

Vacuum (one c, two u's) could be your problem. You need to replace the breather hoses at this time anyway. There are four of them. They connect to three places on the valve covers, and to nipples near the air intake. Pelican has OES for cheap. There is also a check valve near the intake for the brakes. Change it too. It is also cheap. Get the part number off the old check valve. I have found the EPC to be wrong, even when using the VIN to find part numbers for 112 engines check valve.

Next, when did you last change your brake fluid? Must be done every two years, no exceptions. Use the Mercedes specified fluid too. The counter Bob will tell you his computer says to use what ever woof-woof fluid he uses on his dog.

Please get that exhaust leak fixed asap. CO poisoning is not pretty.
