Surprise gift from Mercedes
I bought a 2003 240C 4Matic in June. Today I received a package from Mercedes Benz. Inside was a free black 100% lambswool car blanket from Faribault Mills!

I got mine from Laguna Nigel and I never received anything. I think that it totally depends on who your sales person was. I was at MB San Diego the other day and a sales rep was just walking around the MB store with a client who just bought a car and he said to him, "grab anything you need." I was like...wow...
on a side note, he was one of the highest volume salesman there, but he did make his clients feel like a MB customer!

My gift car blanket was from Mercedes not from my dealer. The card enclosed with the gift was from Paul Juron, General Manage, Customer Assistance Center.
I have signed up with Mercedes Benz on their internet site and I also filled out a questionnaire from Mercedes that I received in the mail. I wonder if one of those things triggered the gift or whether they are sending them out to all customers.

I got a $50 gift cert. that i got a cargo net and SL metal e-brake cover so it was money well spent. Of course they insist u bring the customer survey card back with all perfect score....which I regret helping them cheat...my dealer srvc kinda sux (long story).

Actually at penske, everytime you get your car serviced... they want you to answer 100% satisfactory on the survey and if you can't then they want you to call them and they'll give you a gift certficate good towards parts...

I didn't receive anything either, from MB or the dealer.
I didn't spend enough money at the dealer. When I picked up the car, the dealer was delivering a AMG. Those people got a car full of balloons, a diecast of an old Mercedes with Gull wing doors and a few aother little goodies I can't remember.
Another time I was picking the car up from service, they were delivering a top of the line S Class. That guy also got a set of balloons, watch, pen set.
I guess with my dealer you have to buy a AMG or higher to at least get a set of balloons.
So far I am not very impressed with MB dealer. Before the BM I had Cadillacs from various dealers and they all treated be better than BM. It didn't matter if I had DeVille or a Seville.

I have not received anything, I think every car I have ever had I would get gift-certificate, at Amazon, or Borders, or something like that for test driving new car, I have received nothing from Mercedes.My car has been almost trouble free, but the small problems I have had are never fixed in the first visit, that makes there service very average
