Brake problem 2003 c320 4M

I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas on my brake problem. The car has 75,000 kms on it and the brakes were bled recently at the shop. It seems after sitting overnight and then backing out of the garage down a sloped driveway there is almost no braking and I can hardly stop the car. When I put it D and drive away a short distance the brakes appear to be reasonably normal from then on until it sits overnight again. Any thoughts, Glyn or any one else. Thanks so much. Jeff.

Maybe a vacuum leak from brake booster?
Is there no braking or is it that you have to press extremely hard on the pedal to brake?
You can probably compare the effort with the car off after sitting overnight, vs the car on after sitting overnight.

Also I believe someone on this forum had his brakes bled, and then found that the shop introduced air to the system. (don't remember what the symptoms were though)

Thanks, you may be right about bleeding the brakes again. They were done with the unit that uses a compressor an draws the fluid out at each corner but now I have read of problems with this type somehow introducing air in the lines and apparently it has been banned by many manufacturers in recent years. I will make an appointment this week to do it with a pressurized system.
