Thinking of selling my Coupe

I have always wanted one, and finally have one but thinking about selling my 2003 C230 coupe so I can by the CLA45. Here is a bad cell phone pic of it. It has 44,100 miles on it as of today. I have a kenwood nav unit with sirius, bc sport coilovers, 15% tint, pano roof, and black leather. Mandrus black wheels. PM if interested. No engine mods except K&N filter.

Well, selling this to finance your new AMG A45 won't even put a dent on the down payment. I'd suggest keeping the coupe as your daily driver and leasing the CLA45, or better yet, spend your money on something will real performance like a lightly used C63.
The coupey is a very versatile daily driver, and wth proper maint. should be be pretty indestructible.
Since it's an '03 just run some SeaFoam once in a while to clean out the carbon and replace the timing chain at 80K to avoid problems.

Since he/she is in SD, prior owner was probably a 65-year-old retiree.

Good luck with the sale of this car and the purchase of the new "coupe". Make sure it's what you want - it's longer and wider than the C230, but smaller inside and less practical. It's like a fat trophy wife.

MB doesn't have the best reputation when introducing or significantly updating new c classes...first few W203's were rust prone, you're aware of the timing chain issues on the M271's and look at the balance shaft issues plaguing the first few M272's. All of these problems seem to rear their ugly heads when the car's warranty expires so if you're going to buy the CLA45, consider selling before the warranty expires.

Just looking for something different and a little bit more power. The wife does not let me drive the E63 often enough. I would look to lease because I deploy next year and I can hand it in and then buy a porsche when I get back in 2015.

It would probably take until next year to get an A45, dealer said they had one, and it was preordered. So you already have an E63. Nice.

Eau_Rouge, don't forget the bad cams on the 6.3L AMG engines, and sounds like the OP might want to check on that too.

I got to drive a CLA250 yesterday. I liked it!
Very peppy.
