Inlet shut off valve W203 Evo coupe
Recently car has deveoped issue where start and ticks over fine, however after about a mile or so after stopped at junction car went into slow mode and would not rev above 2000rpm without a fight.. Took car to mechanical who saw a couple of codes, one is a permanent failed water heater (p1664) and the other was for a inlet shut off valve error.
He cleared the codes and now car sometimes runs ok and is sometimes gutless, but its not consistant on when is does either.
He has advised inlet shut off valve is £450 but wanted to check if this has been seen, and indeed if i have any other options.?
