I agree with Erik's view of the rims, they do have a '70s muscle car look to them. I like.

gatta rant...
It's only been 8-9 months since I got my 03 C230k sedan and all these improvements...
Better rims/tire set-up, lower profile, drilled front rotors, metal foot plates, chrome tipped exaust.
I think MB should have a program where they upgrade your stuff if it changes within a year.

These are oficially the 2004.5 model Sports Sedans. We discused this at C SportCoupe while this forum was down. Even 82 year old Mr. Stiegler called them the 2004.5 models.
When I had my Bi-xenons installed 11/7 they had 5 2004.5 models in stock, non with bi-xenons.
They did have a black C320 Coupe with a 6 speed stick

The brake looks the exactly the same as C32 except painted different color..
Also FYI: C32 brake part number are not AMG specific..
Maybe someone can clarify sport package brake vs C32 brake..

03 silver C32 AMG
theres alot of different parts to the brakes... mainly rotors and calipers
im not certain, but i think wut u guys see similar on this sport package and the C32 brakes are the ROTORS. the rotors on this package and the C32 are both drilled. But, that does not mean they are the same brakes, afterall, the calipers are different.
the C32's brakes say AMG on them while the sport package brakes say Mercedes-Benz
I think the sport package brakes could be the same brakes that are on the CLK500 and so on vehicles... they certainly do look the same, rotors calipers and all....
not 100% certain though

What I am saying that it could be same Brembo unit found on C32 but painted different color and has different label "Mercedes Benz" as opposed to "AMG" (paint is just a minor detail).
The reason I am wondering is because I hear someone mentioned about this at mercedes forum about Sport Package brake is the same setup as C32 brake.
And I never given any thought to it until I saw this picture
After all The silver caliper of C32 with "AMG" on it and rotor does not have AMG specific part number.
The part number is generic.
If anyone can clarify this, that would be fantastic
From the looks of how the rotor fit on 17" wheels looks very similar to C32, which lead me to believe that they might even have the same part number.
If anyone can give me the part number of the rotor I could double check with C32 rotor.
If the part number turned out the same, I don't see any reason for MB not to put the same Rotor and Caliper unit as found on C32..
just my $0.02
