wheel hub replacement
I have a 2004 C230 sedan. i need to replace the passenger side wheel hub and bearing. besides the actual wheel hub and bearing, what other parts/ tools/machine press will i need to get it off and back on? also does anybody have any advice of pictures on how to get it done? i little guidance would help.

oh man this is so easy. I just did it on the weekend. you need a common metric socket set, and a torx driver. remove the wheel, remove the brake caliper and don't let it hang by the hose (suspend it with wire). Then pop off the bubble shaped hub cover in the center of the hub. use a 5mm allen key to un screw the lock holding the nut to the stub axel and pull off the hub. slide the new one on and put everything back. look up procedure for tightening bearing nut. basicly you tighten it while spinning the hub a few times until it is hand tightened as much as you can, then back it off a tiny bit until it runs freely again.
