rear washer spray not working at all times

rear washer spray not working at all times
ok My 2003 c240 wagon the rear washer spray only works sometimes I really need help with this one
car ON press spray sometimes it sprays the wiper allways wipes (as it should)
if it sprays it wont spray if I hold the botton it will do like a short burst instead of staying on like it should with button held
It will work for a bit like 3 sprays then stops and wont work UNLESS I shut the car off and re-start it. if I do that it will spray for a bit more then it stops
Front spray works 100% all the time it is ONLY the rear
is there a relay? maybe the motor? or maybe the switch??

well its working now
I took the pump out and applied direct power12v to the pump it ran fine I ran it for about 1 Liter of fluid coming thru and its worked fine since then so maybe it was starting to seize?
