2004 C240 cranks but doesnt start...
So a few days ago I ran out of gas and the car stopped on its own. I added a few gallons and drove to gas station and filled it up. since then i have had a few occasions that even though the gas tank is full the car cranks but doesnt start. After 10 to 15 minutes of cranking and stopping, the engine starts. What's wrong and how can I fix it ? Thanks for your help in advance.

This could be any number of things but these two come to mind. This sounds like a fuel pump issue or a fuel filter/clog.
You may have damaged it when you ran the tank dry. The gas in the tank will cool the pump and when you run it too low that pump can heat up. This can cause some intermittent issue and in the long run full failure.
It could also be that when you ran the tank dry it sucked up some crap from the bottom of the tank and clogged your fuel filter.
