Question about C240 with Rims fitting/wheel well
So I've been wanting to get rims for a while now and i've finally decided on a set of 18" bremmer kraft rims from tire rack. Whenever I enter my car into tirerack it says these rims will fit and that everything would go on easy, however I noticed that in the front wheel wells there seems to be a strut/spring thing that is pretty close to the tire. I'm afraid that if i put 17's on or 18's that the tire would rub the strut considering it is pretty close to the tire and i'm running the stock 16's right now. Does anybody have any experience with this or could somebody tell me whether or not 18's would fit without modifying that strut or spring. I'm open to modifying it if it's not too awful expensive.

you can go up to 20's if you wanted with the stock suspension. So to answer your question, as long as you select the correct offset you should be fine with 18 inch rims - that's what I am running now after having 19's installed for over 2 years.
